An Indian girl settled in New Jersey met with a Haitian man in Maryland. That’s how we could describe the relationship between Priya Vadnere and Styves Exantus. But they had made themselves into a perfect interracial couple.
Priya Vadnere is an only child to her Indian parents who settled in New Jersey. Priya and Styves met on June 30, 2014 in Bronx, New York. At the time, they were both working for Verizon FiOS. Styves was a Senior Educator and it was Priya’s first day after a week of training. Upon arriving on site, Priya was having trouble finding where Styves and her new partner Rachael were parked. After a few minutes, she finally found the FiOS truck and approached the passenger side. Both Styves and Rachael seemed to be oblivious that Priya was standing right next to them, so Priya gently tapped the window to grab their attention. Still oblivious, Priya slammed both hands on the passenger side window.
THE REAL STORY: Styves screamed as he dropped his phone on the floor of the truck. He swung the door opened and said annoyed, “So this is how you’re going to introduce yourself for the first time?” Priya could not stop laughing!! LET STYVES TELL IT: Styves did not notice when Priya approached the vehicle because she was too short that he did not see her through the window. The radio was playing Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” and fortuitously she screamed at the same time that Priya slammed her hands against the window and it merely startled Styves triggering him to drop his phone. Whatever version you believe, you can’t argue that they made an impression on one another.
During their training, the duo got to meet several times and, through her friend, Priya got to know that he is interested in her. They couple later fell in love and decided to get married.
Styves served in the United States Marine Corps earlier and after retiring from the armed forces, he started working for the same firm Priya worked in. Apart from his professional job in marketing, Styves is an actor and stuntman.
This lovely Blindian couple got married on July 10, 2016. They were blessed with a baby boy in March 2017, whom they named Shaiz.
